Cajun`s Fabulous Fried Chicken in Gulfport

What can I say. It is a all you can eat fried chicken place. They also have fried fish and fried chicken livers. All are fried excellently. The sides are all kinds of southern favorites and the biscuits are so fluffy you have to catch them before they float to the ceiling. The salad bar is A+

We really enjoyed the food and the staff was very courteous. Very seldom do I eat in restaurants where EVERYTHING is good!!! Great eating place. Keep up the great work in Gulfport, MS.

Cajuns eating area is too small for the number of people that are eating. Need more room food is good.

Good country food. It has really good fried chicken and tons of veggies on the buffet. The only reason I didn't put a five star is for 2 reasons. Not enough room so if there busy have to wait for someone to leave to get a seat and they're very busy at lunch. Also better get some cash they don't take cards. They do have an ATM inside but of course there is a charge.

The BEST fried chicken you will ever eat! Have tried many others thinking they would compare or be close to Cajuns. They never are. The biscuits are amazing as well!

Can’t get enough of this place. I remember it as a child. Our parents took us there, and it was so good.

Home cooking couldn't be any better! Delicious fried chicken and fried chicken livers . Wonderful catfish and spicy fried chicken also! So many choices of vegetables and fresh biscuits,yeast rooms and cornbread. The desserts are choice of two cobblers or chocolate coke a cola cake ! This is one place everyone should try! We love this place

The food is absolutely awesome, this is one buffet that does not get old. They were constantly tending to the foods and keeping everything topped off. Everything was absolutely delicious and fresh. Wonderful southern and Cajun food at an affordable price. It’s not a big place so it can get crowded but it’s worth it. Staff was super friendly... Note: They Do Not take payments by Card. 💳 ... but for our dining convenience offer an In House ATM. 💵 ...... 🤣

For what it is, very good. Excellent fried catfish and chicken.

Why would anyone go here when Hartz is just a short drive away? Food was dried out and not good quality. Mashed potatoes were from an instant mix. Diners are given one average size plate and a small desert dish with no option to get a clean one if you go back. Hubby and I were panhandled in the parking lot as we returned to our car. We won't be back and regret having been here even once.

Everything is absolutely excellent always. I’m a great cook n know what good food supposed to taste like n these people are on it. I eat here 2-3 times a week because I can’t cook cheaper & I drive from hattiesburg. My only problem is it’s so busy they can’t stock up the buffet fast enough to feed the people that’s already seated but constantly selling buffets to people coming in. Management needs to do a better job and make better decisions on very busy days.Other than that 50 kudos

I was in gulfport on work assignment. Dining choices was decent. Since i was in the area for nearly a year, i almost ran out of places to eat. I came across this place and tried it. This place is a bargain! All you can eat fried chicken, catfish, and many, many sides and desserts for under $9 bucks is way too good of a value for your money! Their fried chicken is good and always freshly cooked, seasoned right but nothing too fabulous about it. Same goes for the fish. This place can feed you really well. Sides, salads, rolls and desserts are plenty. The dining area and rest rooms are clean. I especially would like to mention the friendly staff that made the experience homey. This place is four stars overall and i will be coming back mostly for the value for money factor.

Love this place! I moved here from KY and this was one of the 1st places I ate. The food is delicious and the people are friendly and couteous. Definitely recommend Cajuns to anyone

I'm not a fan of buffets with everybody leaning over the food etc. This however wasn't bad. I tried everything...it was all quite good...for a buffet. Quite fresh. Mash potatoes, green beans, dirty rice, greens, red beans and rice we're especially tasty.

We love this place. The food is always hot and fresh. It is a fried chicken buffet. We stop here often for lunch. Great buffet for under $10. Drive here before going to get that fast food.

buffet, collard greens, potatoes, rice, biscuits fruit bar, fixings, then fried chicken mild or spicy, fried catfish and livers. then berry cobbler or peach cobbler, finally soft serve ice cream. around 9.19$/ per person, eat as much as u want. take out also a available. local flavor, nothing fancy,just a lot of good food. aabout 5 minutes wait during g rush hours. cash only, ATM on site

This food was awesome the fried chicken had great flavor the employees were great they had great energy singing and serving I would definitely recommend but get there early because it gets packed fast

ALL I CAN SAY IS THIS PLACE IS AND ALWAYS HAVE BEEN SINCE MY FIRST VISIT- THE ABSOLUTELY BOMB!!!! The food is soooo good and I’m NEVER disappointed- my only wish is that is was bigger bc it be PACKED to capacity and I totally understand why

Excellent chicken, fried fish and sides on this buffet. Only four stars for the fact that they only accept cash, no credit or debit cards. They do have an ATM on site, but an embarrassing and awkward way to pay for dinner especially if you don't see the tiny sign that says " CASH ONLY." Otherwise, a worthwhile stop if you're really hungry for fried goodies.

When I arrived at this place, i was somewhat skeptical. But when we sat down to eat I was absolutely shocked at how much flavor EVERYTHING on the buffet had. This place deserves every 5 star rating that it receives. Great soul food....at a great low cost...which also pleases the soul!! 😊

Only time I've had bloody chicken. Crowded canned cafeteria food at a decent price. Won't waste time there again.

If you haven't been here, you are missing out on the best chicken and sides on the coast. They have very limited seating and sometimes you might have to wait just a few minutes for a table but it is well worth the wait. Also, the customer service is fantastic. I've been here MANY times and have never had anything but a positive experience. You are always welcomed and thanked. To the powers that be: Please consider the vancleave area. I promise you, it will succeed!

They do not accept credit cards or debit only cash.. Service is below average and toilet is dirty.. Only positive is food is above average.

Great chicken and a lot more. Very fast turnover, so the chicken is always fresh and hot. Lunchtime is very busy and parking is scarce, but don’t let that keep you away. No need to dress up and everyone is always welcome. Kids friendly too. I plan another visit later in the week. I guarantee that you won’t leave hungry. Enjoy the experience, I always do.

Food is consistently very good. A nice selection of vegetables out each time. The fish is light and crispy not greasy. The chicken is very good too. A fair price for very good tasting, balanced meal. Usually crowded for the good food but they do a very good job of servicing the crowd and the crowd moves right along.

The food was amazing like always. I'm not rating this low because of the food or the restaurant. I'm giving a low rating because during COVID 19 we take extra precautions due to the virus. I was checking out and the lady checking me out had gloves on touching money and touching the food as well. She never changed her gloves and we all know that this is a cash only establishment so I feel that you guys need to work on the employee's changing gloves or better yet the lady that is taking money should never touch food.

I love this place and the food, just wish the restaurant was bigger. The buffet have a great selection of fried chicken, fish and livers. Have plenty of vegetables such as cabbage, green beans,okra,red beans, cajun rice, mashed potatoes and gravy and so much more!

Cash only! ATM on site or maybe local personal check. Great chicken. Love all the different sides. Good deserts. Throw away dishes for all you can eat. Just ask for another plate. Fresh spicy fish. Spiced beans were the bomb. Cajun rice was very good. Peach yummy cobbler. Worth the price. It was Tuesday after 5pm.

Been around for years is older than me . Still great food great service great buffet kinda cheap . Has access for all people. Small parking lot for how much business it gets can get pretty packed but still great family restaurant.

I treat myself at least once a week. Sometimes more. Absolutely enjoy the food. Never have I experienced.

My husband loves the buffet, I can't eat much and enjoy the three chicken thighs with roll. We both get what is wanted. Ensure you have cash, no credit cards are accepted. There is an atm machine on premise.

Food was really good and it was nice to see management out at a busy time helping his employees and making things run smoother so people didnt have to wait as long for a seat !

I’ve heard great thing about this place. And the price was also a good attention grabber for me. I have to say, I was definitely not impressed. I think kfc is better. It wasn’t terrible, the food was decent, not a whole lot of selection. If you want decent food, for a decent price it’s good, but nothing to write home about.

Whenever we visit Gulfport, my husband and I love stopping by for some good food. Always fresh, hot, and the service is great. Friendly atmosphere, and the price is fair.

The best buffet I've had in so long it literally feeds your soul. It's the way familiarity triggers memories and evokes tastes from your grand ma's cooking. If it's packed just wait it's very much worth it and it's inexpensive given the value received.

Food was good, buffet style. Chicken perfectly cooked. Cabbage and lima beans delicious. Our first visit was today and the Chef/Cook Shirley showed us the process. Thanks sweetness! Very reasonable prices. Will go again, most definitely!

While the selection is somewhat limited, the food is good. This is one of the few places that has pickled okra on the salad bar. YUM!

This place serves good southern soul food you have a choice of dining-in or carrying out a variety of food and desserts my first time going to this restaurant was last week the environment was clean the food was a really fresh and hot on the line this is an all-you-can-eat an reasonable price .

Not being from the South, I never understood why people like fried chicken, until now. It was soooo good. Comfort food has a whole new meaning.

Great food. I stop in everytime I'm in Biloxi or New Orleans. Yes its worth the drive across state lines for I love the chicken, the cabbage, the beans and the fish.

The best friend chicken ever!!! Excellent flavor and no grease. All other food excellent. Bathroom was clean. Counters by food clean. Had an employee constantly cleaning up the buffet bar.

Nice little buffet with a great price. Small selection, but all southern food (fried fish, chicken and chicken livers for meat selection, red beans, rice, Cajun rice, fried okra, greensb cabbage, corn bread etc), and done up well.
